Lost Twin y Glue Kids se inspiran en la película “Take Shelter”, usándola como punto de partida para explorar, a lo largo de una cara cada uno, texturas, progresiones y paisajes ambientales.
Gracias a una densa pero minimalista ecuación de drones, guitarras y sintetizadores, logran conformar una recontextualización de la película tan perturbadora como emotiva.
El film, dirigido por Jeff Nichols en 2011, explora los límites donde la realidad se confunde con la ficción, un retrato bello y bizarro de la America profunda, supersticiosa y rural. Una gran metáfora sobre la incomunicación verbal y emocional con ecos de apocalípsis religioso, donde el concepto del miedo se intuye de una manera casi metafísica.
